What is bln.kr?

bln.kr is a way for artists to share the music they make. We will host your music and provide you with the tools to share it with your fans and grow your network of supporters.

How do I pronounce bln.kr?

We like to pronounce it "blinker."

What kind of music will you host?

We host (and love) all kinds of music, as long as it is uploaded by the original artist.

I have a great track from a new artist I want to upload. I'm sure he/she won't mind. Can I upload it?

Unfortunately, no. Due to copyright restrictions, we must insist that all music be uploaded by the copyright owner. Still, we love your enthusiasm, so why not tell the artist about bln.kr?

What music file types do you support?

Right now you can upload mp3 formatted files, but we will be expanding support for other popular file types soon.

What devices does bln.kr work on?

bln.kr works on all desktop browsers, including Firefox, Safari, Chrome, and Internet Explorer. We are also really excited to support most smartphone browsers, including iPhone, Blackberry, Android, WebOS and Windows Mobile.

How do I share my music?

Super simple: 1. Sign up with your twitter account. 2. Upload your song. 3. Click the share link to post your song link to Twitter, Facebook, MySpace, and StumbleUpon.

I have a music blog / my own artist site. Why would I use bln.kr?

When you upload your track to bln.kr, you can also embed it to your blog and/or site. This is cool because any plays you get from the embeddable player are recorded on bln.kr as well. And really soon, users will be able to share your track right from the embeddable player as well.

How do I become a user?

It couldn't be an easier. Just click the link in the top right corner that says "sign in with twitter." Click to allow bln.kr to access your twitter account, and you're done! You will then be logged into bln.kr with the same username as your twitter account.

What if I don't have a twitter username?

We really don't want to make you sign up for another username and password, so if you don't have a twitter username, either sign up with twitter or hang tight. We will be supporting logging in from other sites soon.

What's going on during the beta period?

During the beta we will be adding new features continuously and really want feedback from artists on how to create a great music sharing service.
